Die Wanderung ist im doppelten Sinn atemberaubend: viel Auf und Ab, mit tosender Brandung in kleinen Buchten und einem großartigen Blick auf die Felsenküste von einer in der Eisenzeit befestigten Landzunge, die heute als Station der Küstenwache dient.

To the jagged rocks and boiling sea at Rump Point, where an ancient fort stood at the tip of the windswept peninsula. Big waves for surfers, a pilgrimage to the grave of a poet laureate and a ferry across a beautiful estuary. An exhilarating and moving walk.
